Deborah Mulford

WHERE I’M FROM: I was raised in Iowa City in a family of educators, music lovers and farming roots, which laid a foundation of classic Iowa work ethics, common sense and an appreciation of those values that promise honest, caring and personalized service.

WHAT I’VE DONE:  After several years of teaching in the Iowa City & West Branch school districts, I served as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions for the University of Iowa. Moving to the West Coast, I continued my work in college student admissions and advising at Seattle University and The Evergreen State College in Washington State. Denver, Colorado came next where I worked as a website coordinator. After several years “out West”, I returned to Iowa City to be near family and pursue my passion in real estate.

EDUCATION:

K-12, Iowa City Schools

BA in Psychology, The University of Iowa.

Master of Public Administration, Seattle University.

WHAT I ENJOY: Volunteering for local not-for-profit organizations; Ethnic cooking; Weimaraners; Documentaries; Gardening; Good books; and of course, Real Estate!

My contacts within the Iowa City and University communities and my years of experience in education, marketing and project management are resources and skills that not only add value, but also ensure that nothing is overlooked in a real estate transaction. When I work for you, you get my undivided attention and the follow through that keeps you in the loop and makes for a streamlined process.
