My husband, David and I live on the east side of Iowa City with our four children. With degrees in both Journalism and Secondary English Education from Iowa State University, I have worked professionally as both a newspaper reporter and a teacher at Regina Catholic Education Center. During my time at home with our children, I also taught group fitness  classes and managed a fitness studio. As an active member of the community, I volunteer extensively with the Red Cross as a team lead for Johnson County and surrounding areas.  The Farber family can often be found outside exploring, hiking, biking, and enjoying many of the unique cultural and entertainment opportunities the greater Iowa City area provides.
