Terri's background is a blend of education, real estate, and personal interests. She’s originally from a small town in northern Iowa, and she moved to Iowa City for her education at the University of Iowa, where she earned a B.B.A from the College of Business and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the College of Education. After working at American College Testing (ACT) for five years, she became a stay-at-home mom to her three children before transitioning into a successful career in real estate since 1996.

Terri has been actively involved in the local real estate association, even serving as President in 2010, and she has received recognition for her dedication to the field, such as being named REALTOR® of the Year in 2009 and earning her Brokers designation in 2006. Her colleagues have also recognized her with the Gold Star Recipient award, indicating that she’s respected and enjoyed to work with in the real estate community.

On a personal level, Terri has diverse interests. She’s written a book for children and parents on activities in eastern Iowa, and she’s been a columnist for the Iowa City Press-Citizen. She’s actively engaged in her family life, including spending time with her four grandchildren, her three adult children, two dogs, and her husband. In her spare time, Terri aspires to combine her love of homes, people, and mysteries to write a series of thrillers. Terri is dedicated to helping her clients navigate the real estate market.
